Apply to join our team as we pioneer services at the Former Cascade Behavioral Health Hospital in Tukwila!
A successful applicant will effectively maintain a clean facility by performing a variety of custodial duties and demonstrating a positive, guest-friendly attitude.
King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.
Some of what you'll do:
- Move/Transport furniture
- Empty trash and recycle receptacles
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Clean sinks, toilets, and urinals
- Remove dust from surfaces of State-owned equipment
- Clean windows
- Pressure-wash outdoor walkways
- Unclog toilets, sinks, and urinals as needed
Who should apply?
- A valid state driver's license is required
- Six months to one year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general, or building maintenance, or custodial work
- Must have the ability to read, write understand, and follow written and oral instructions
