Undergrad Intern Bus/Mgmt

Job Duties/Scope Of Work
We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join our team and provide invaluable support to our Workforce Solutions department. Your role will involve performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the Workforce Rewards and Support department. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring benefit program successes.

This position will have a strong focus on benefits administration, updating employee databases, preparation of Human Resources related reporting, letter writing, development of presentation materials and coordination of meetings. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support.
- Assist with updating the database with benefit and new employee information.
- Preparation of reports.
- Answering employee questions regarding the benefits programs.
- Coordination of company benefit information materials and meetings.
- Assistance with annual enrollment activities.
- Other benefits administration related projects, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or other relevant discipline and demonstrate an interest in learning about Human Resources and real-world applications of course work.
- Must have one college term completed at an accredited college or university, must be enrolled as a full-time student, and live within a commutable distance from the Richland work location.
- Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with benefit programs, HRIS database and Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel desired but not required for consideration.

Compensation & Benefits
Freshman: $15.74/hour
Sophomore: $18.48/hour
Junior: $19.61/hour
Senior: $23.14/hour

In accordance with the HMIS wage determination process, offers will be made by taking into consideration the degree program the candidate is currently enrolled in - or - scope of work the position will perform, grade level in school (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) as well as the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. The starting rates, and ranges listed (if applicable) represents the full wage scale that may be offered for this position.
