The Information Technology Division (ITD) exists to leverage technology to enhance and sustain business processes, public safety infrastructure, and statewide emergency communications to facilitate the accomplishment of all agency goals.
Duties
The position develops and maintains enterprise software applications and systems used by agency employees, the criminal justice community, and the general public.
The position provides analysis, application development, and application maintenance services for complex agency enterprise software applications and systems. This position is a specialist that develops and maintains complex applications written in the .NET Framework and using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server. The position, which is a highly technical position, supports technical integration and data migration for the ServiceNow platform. The applications supported include WSP administrative applications, Criminal Justice records management systems, and other critical systems.
Our new teammate will be able to:
- Develop application programs and application Program Interfaces (API) using .NET C#. SQL, JQuery, SSIS, SSRS, HTML, CSS, and third party function calls
- Integrate all layers of the application technology stack including data access, business rules, user interfaces, and integration with application programming interfaces.
- Design user interfaces that meet business requirements and are easy to use.
- Develop data models and database structures that meet application business needs.
- Provide application development support for developing the Legacy Data Warehouse and associated access mechanisms, which will capture legacy Remedy data and attachments for retention and access to support Public Disclosure Requests.
- Develop and support technical end-user programs to search and access attachments stored on virtual servers and indexed by Remedy meta data.
- Work with business customers to analyze business processes and gather requirements for new functionality.
- Analyze and translate business requirements to functional and technical specifications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of journey-level experience (normally attained through 8-10 years) as an IT professional in an enterprise organization.
- Two years of experience analyzing, developing, and maintaining applications, systems, and databases using:
- Object Oriented Programming techniques.
- Microsoft .NET platform using C#, SSIS, SSRS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Relational database design and normalization rules.

Supplemental Information
NOTE: This is not a full-time telework position. Candidates must be able and willing to work in the office and commute to here. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training and/or probationary period has been successfully completed.
