PAY AND BENEFITS
Annual Pay Range: $54,885.40 - $69,321.74
Hourly Pay Range: $26.387212 - $33.327760
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.

JOB DETAILS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Clackamas County Health Centers Division is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Specialist 1 to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our health centers. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, processing patient information, and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*
• Minimum of one (1) year of related administrative support, office management, or related experience that would provide the required knowledge and skills to perform the responsibilities of this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software; knowledge of databases, recordkeeping systems, and office equipment.
• Experience coordinating and managing appointments, scheduling meetings, and events for individuals or teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
Preferred Special Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*
• EPIC EHR experience.

• Driving is required for County business on a regular basis or to accomplish work. TYPICAL TASKS
Administrative Support:
• Provide administrative support for Primary Care clinics and School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs), including meeting coordinating and scheduling, note-taking, and creating and maintaining newsletters and surveys.
• Coordinate travel and training for health center staff and leadership and oversee CPR and Zero Suicide training tracking.
• Provide backup assistance to the Executive Assistant as needed.
New Hire Support:
• Assist with interview processes, including conducting pre-interview screenings and scheduling interviews.
• Coordinate bilingual testing and draft new hire paperwork for SBHC supervisors, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
Template Management:
• Create and update EPIC templates for new providers and resources in SBHC.
Event Coordination:
• Manage National Health Centers Week activities, including researching and ordering promotional materials and coordinating the delivery of gifts and snacks for employees.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position works 40 hours during a standard workweek of Monday through Friday. Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended. The exact amount of on-site/telework and schedule will be discussed with the hiring manager during time of offer. Telework locations cannot be located outside of Oregon or Washington. Washington residents must perform 50% of their time on-site at Clackamas County.
