Working as the water truck driver was a relaxing job once I was settled in. It wasn't stressful or very demanding but there was enough to do to keep the job from being boring. This job also granted the opportunity for new skills to be learned. When it rained, I learned to operate other machinery and jobs to keep busy and increase by value on the log yard.
What I wish was different
I wish that there was more variety throughout the day to learn new skills and take on more responsibility.
Advice
You must. Have a phone or iPod or some sort of audio player to play podcasts and music. Because 10 hours of silence is very boring and degrading on the soul.
